What is a Interdisciplinary Studies?

A Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies program at ASU allows each student to study more then one area of interest. It combines two areas of concentration to complete one major. The BIS program is a great way for students to gain an interest and perspective on two different areas of study.

Why I chose a BIS degree?

I chose a my areas of concentration because I had an interest in the exercise and wellness program, but I felt that having a background in business was important. I was a pre-business major at ASU for a few years before I realized that the business program was not where I was happy. I wanted to learn more about what interested me and could help me in my future.
